Raquel Villar-Pérez is an independent curator, researcher and writer based in Edinburgh, UK. She is Associate Curator at the Women Photographers International Archive (WOPHA) and the inaugural Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Curatorial Fellow. She has previously held curatorial roles at Tate Modern, Photoworks, and Impressions Gallery. Her work has been supported by Arts Council England, Fundación Botín, and Art Fund, and she regularly serves as a juror and nominator for international photography awards, including the Hasselblad Award and the FOAM Paul Huf Award. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Edinburgh College of Art.
