Michael Grieve has been a contributing writer and photographer for the British Journal of Photography since 2011. He has an MA in Photographic Studies from the University of Westminster, graduating in 1997, and then began working on assignments as a reportage and portrait photographer for publications. In 2008 he began writing about photography and was the deputy editor of 1000 Words Contemporary Photography Magazine. In 2011 he began teaching and was a senior lecturer in photography at Nottingham Trent University and now teaches documentary photography at Ostkreuzschule fur Fotografie in Berlin. He is the founder/director of Art Foto Mode, a project that organises photography workshops internationally. Currently based in Athens and Berlin.

Henri Badaröh is a Brazilian visual artist, writer, curator and editor. Badaröh’s language of choice is subversion and nonconformism, to reach a more inclusive way of working with art and politics whilst taking a stance on the powers that be. Through queer, decolonial and intersectional approaches, he focuses on the dialogues between photography and film, analogue creative practices and new media, image and the written word, Europe and America. Badaröh completed a Masters degree in Film and Photographic Studies at Leiden University, after completing a BA in Photography in his hometown of São Paulo. He lives and works in The Netherlands.

The former creative director of Stockland Martel, which represented artists including Nadav Kander during its 30-year existence, she now collaborates independently with photographers to edit their work and shape their projects.
