German lab WhiteWall debuts at The Photography Show

WhiteWall, the leading German online photography lab, returned for its second year at The Photography Show in Birmingham’s NEC.
WhiteWall’s stand showed more than 1,000 finishing options, along with two of the lab’s newest products; the HD Metal Print and the acrylic block.
Whitewall’s HD Metal Print see photographs applied to an ultrathin 1mm waterproof aluminium board through a unique thermal sublimation printing process like bathrooms or kitchens.
Whitewall will also show the 25mm thick acrylic block, which allows images become “freestanding objet d’arts” for desks and shelves.
Images are printed on premium Kodak paper which, coupled with the thickness of the acrylic, means images gain enormous depth.
WhiteWall, a brand owned by Berlin-based Avenso GmbH, has operated the photo lab as well as the WhiteWall online service since 2007.
The company out of the WhiteWall photo lab in Frechen, Germany, just outside of Cologne.
All WhiteWall’s products are made to order in Germany with sizes specified to the centimetre.
