Construction Sight is Bolofo’s first foray into architectural photography, a four-year project documenting the transformation of Holland Park’s former Commonwealth Institute into the new Design Museum.
Bolofo’s extraordinary photographs will premiere on Cork Street ahead of going on permanent display in the new Design Museum’s spectacular atrium, when the building opens in November.

Bolofo was born in South Africa and raised in Great Britain. Bolofo has photographed and made short films for magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and Numéro, and has created advertising campaigns for brands including Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Dom Pérignon.
Bolofo has published a number of books with Steidl, including Venus, I Spy with My Little Eye, Something Beginning with S, Vroom! Vroom!, La Maison, Lord Snowdon and Grande Complication. He has exhibited at MoMA in New York, and his work can be found in the permanent collection of London’s National Portrait Gallery.
