1854 Media and British Journal of Photography are thrilled to announce the shortlist and winners of Portrait of Britain 2020!

In the wake of Brexit and the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, the fifth anniversary edition of the award captures the many faces of modern Britain at a momentous time in our history.

100 winning images feature in the digital exhibition on JCDecaux UK’s nationwide network of digital Out-of-Home screens throughout rail stations, shopping malls, high streets and bus shelters across the UK.
