London based photographer Laura Pannack continues her exploration of mythology, nostalgia and the impermanence of adolescence with her latest project Tales from the Dübener Heide forest. Pannack shares a first look at the work, specially for British Journal of Photography
Laura Chen
Laura Chen is a Dutch image maker and writer based in London. Working with photography, text, collage, found and archival materials, her multidisciplinary practice is an investigation into the obscurities and idiosyncrasies of the mundane — whether everyday objects or communities and individuals who live and work on the fringes of society. Recurring themes and interests include memory, identity, deception, tactility and fiction. She contributes to printed and online publications including GUP Magazine, Discarded Magazine and Photomonitor. She will soon complete her MA Photography Arts degree at the University of Westminster London.
