Our social media policy

We use social media to share new editorial, information, opportunities and award news within our photographic community.

We are proud to have built a community that goes beyond the pages of our print magazine and encompasses the work and perspectives of photographers both locally and internationally.

To make this possible and to allow us to continue to grow this diverse community, we ask those engaging with our platforms to act respectfully.

1854 has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to hate speech and online harassment or bullying. Any comments deemed to be of this nature will be removed and the user may lose the ability to engage with 1854 social media channels

Our social media channels are monitored twice a day Mon-Fri. Our team reserves the right to hide or remove comments that go against our company values at their own discretion.

If you have any feedback on what steps we can take to improve our channel moderation, please email us at support@1854.media
