Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for data analysis, optimizing landing pages, conversion funnels and other customer journey elements, running Facebook and other paid ad campaigns, CRM workflows to offer our photography audience continued value, and contribute to growing our platform’s engagement and revenue. This role will adapt daily, relying on frequent testing and evaluation to ensure targets are both met and exceeded.
- Successfully develop and implement marketing campaigns to meet Awards and Membership objectives & targets agreed with the Marketing Director.
- In conjunction with Data Analyst, use data insights of ongoing campaigns (including subscriptions, award entries, 1854’s Membership platform, and commissions platform) to inform and adapt strategy
- In conjunction with Junior Marketing Manager and Data Analyst, oversee Hubspot CRM with regard to data collection, list creation, email creation and automated workflows, with a view to growing database size, quality, engagement, and ultimately customer conversions
- Consider all aspects of the customer journey, giving member/subscriber retention at least equal priority & attention to onboarding new members
- Create briefs and manage copywriter and graphic designers to create assets for all marketing campaigns, including email marketing, landing pages, member benefits pages, and more.
- Manage organic & paid social media communications across all company social media channels
- Review all data & analytics reports and make routine, strategic adjustments to fully optimize user experience
- Develop tailored organic social media strategies by analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and acting on that information
About You:
- Strong data, reasoning and analytical skills are essential
- 4+ years experience in digital marketing management
- Experience within a media/creative industry (ideal)
- Proven track record creating and overseeing all aspects of digital campaigns, including social media (organic and paid), email campaigns, and website management
- Expert in Google Analytics (inc. Google Tag Manager) Excel and analytics functions with social platforms (Facebook/Insta)
- Experience in data visualization and data visualisation tools like Google Data Studio or Tableau etc
- Experience automating data reporting across different parts of a marketing stack that incorporates a CRM (we use Hubspot) preferred
- Good knowledge of or demonstrable interest in SEO, social media and web publishing
- University degree in Marketing or Mathematics/Computer Science or related field (ideal)
- 4+ years experience in digital marketing management
- Proven track record creating and overseeing all aspects of digital campaigns, including social media (organic and paid), email campaigns, and website management
- Experience managing a team
- Self-motivated/ critical thinker / willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
- Experience of working under pressure and adapting to rapidly changing circumstances
- An excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and management levels.
